I posted a silly picture on Instagram the other day where I posed with a tube of lipstick. It’s funny how something so insignificant as lipstick can really brighten up your day. I put on a bright pink lipstick, it made me smile and actually lifted my spirits. You should try it!
I’m very particular with my lipstick formulas. I don’t like them to slip into my lip wrinkles, but I don’t want them super matte that they dry out my lips. I’ve linked a few of my favorite lipstick formulas below.
High End Lipsticks:
Smashbox Be Legendary (Primrose is a lighter mauve pink that looks great on many fair to light/medium skin tones.)
Laura Mercier Rouge Essential Silky Creme Lipstick (Nude Nouveau is what I wear on most days!)
Nars Lipstick (Niagra is a beautiful pink-based coral.)
Tom Ford Lipcolor (If you want to splurge, Stimulant is a bright pink that looks fab on medium to dark skin tones.)
Mac Lipstick (So many great wearable shades.)
Drugstore Lipsticks:
Revlon Super Lustrous (Pink in the Afternoon is a warm peachy-pink and has been a favorite of mine for years.)
Maybelline Color Sensational The Creams Lip Color (Warm Me Up is a pretty medium pink.)
